Apologies

I would like to extend my apologies to any and all persons or things affected by my mood lately- including, but not limited to: my immediate family, my circle journals, my friends, my household, my waist, my tenuous grasp on stay-at-home-mom sanity, my running shoes, and any other entity that has had the misfortune of crossing my path in the last week. More specifically:

I'm sorry my house looks like this.
I'm sorry that I sent Moosey to the kennel 4 times yesterday.
I'm sorry that I haven't done Timm's ironing this week.
I'm sorry I've been lax about making dinner.
I'm sorry that I haven't exercised at all this week.
I'm sorry that I have gained a couple of pounds.
I'm sorry that I lost my patience a lot yesterday.
I'm sorry that I was so sound asleep yesterday morning that Bella's diaper had soaked her whole bed when I got her up.
I'm sorry that I wrote an overly emotional letter to my grandma.
I'm sorry that Bella only ate snacks yesterday with no real meals.
I'm sorry that I've only made the bed twice this week.

But.....

I'm pregnant. So. At least we know the cause of these shortcomings! Now- no more excuses. Time to clean the house.

{One more- my sincerest apologies that there is still visible, er, urine in that picture. I didn't realize. But even if I had, what am I to do? It's kind of inevitable. Sorry.}

Congratulations! How exciting! But relax, if you want your house to look like that for a while longer (well, who am I kidding, nobody wants that, but if you just can't get around to it) nobody's going to fault you for it. Sleep, lay around on the couch with a good book, stop worrying about your weight, because if pregnancy isn't an excuse for everything, why do we even allow it to happen? ;)

Woohoo! It's always nice to have a reason for everything being difficult, being especially tired, etc. I'm excited to think about Bella being a big sister! (By the way, when I told the boys your news, they were very nonchalant about it. Max even said, "wait, I thought we already knew that". !)

I've been thinking about little pregnant you all day. I told Rachelle she's very very excited for you.
Oh I wish I was there so I could give you a hug and help you during the day!

ECSTATIC!

That's what I have to say about this news. (: How exciting and awesome, seriously. Pass along my congrats to Timm, Bella, and the non furry (and 1..and a half? furry) friends living with you. (Since Dobby is kinda both).

Wish I was there to not clean house and not exercise with you (:

Congratulations, this news definitely helps explain the state of your family room. I always think of you as such a clean-freak that it's hard to imagine you ever having your room look like that, but hormones and a 2.5 year old will do that.

Congrats! Don't worry about the pee in the picture. Mine was so light that I put in a ziploc bag and drove over to my friends to see of she could see it too or if I was just was just coo coo and was just wishing it there.

It has been so long since I've checked blogs--Charlotte told me the news and I was so excited! Btw, your letter to Grandma wasn't lame or too dramatic, or whatever. I read it to her tonight and she sends her love and prayers. Ditto from me.
