Late Monday Wrap Up

Today has been a good, but busy day. One of those days where you are pleasantly tired out by all that you've accomplished, and happy to crawl into bed, yet not exhausted. First of all, I'm happy to say that I did go to the gym this morning as planned. It wasn't so hard, and it felt good once I was there. I only did the elliptical trainer for 30 minutes, but considering my fitness level, I was happy that I did that with not a lot of trouble. Then I had a doctor's appointment that was quite lengthy to review my history of depression and my state of mind lately. I did a trial where I took myself off of my medications to see how I could function without them since I'd been on them for so many years. Not so good. It wasn't terrible, but I just want to be able to function at the highest level possible. (Not only for myself, but for the good of my husband, my daughter, and basically every poor soul I have e to come in contact with... It's a service to humanity, really.) that went pretty well. I indulged myself in a LONG nap while Bella took hers. (One of the perks of having only one child at home) Then I cleaned my downstairs, went visiting teaching to an inactive woman in my ward, and did some organizing with Timm while we watched "The Apprenti" (There were 2 on tonight.) I even worked in a walk and a visit to my neighbor today. It;s been a productive and busy day and I am ready for bed! (Hence the late post. I'll try to be more punctual and post early in the day as I enjoy my fellow bloggers to do. ) Good night!

Sounds like a wonderfully productive day, especially impressive to have worked a nap in! I spent 5 hours sorting and putting away costumes in my friend's basement--not so fun considering the weather outisde was about 75 degrees. Oh well, it feels good to accomplish something productive.

I thought of you yesterday while cleaning my house and thought for sure you were having your usual cleaning day as well. Glad that you were able to get so much done, including a nap and some QT with Timm, always a plus!

Sounds like you accomplished a lot of worthwhile things. I wish my day went as well. See blog.

What a productive day, you must get more hours to work with than I do. You didn't mention anything about a swirling vortex that sucked hours from your schedule, does that mean you didn't get on the internet until evening? Hmmm.

Congratulations on the gymn visit!! If you once make it a habit, it becomes MUCH easier. Don't make it SO early in the morning that it becomes to much of a drudge to get there.... 30 minutes on the eliptical for the first time out is very good!

I want to hear more about this doctor's visit. Also, I want to discuss the Chris Ellis thing a little bit more because I interupted you right in the middle of things the other night.

Days of wonderful productivity are indeed a wonder! Denise and I are living proof-the week she spent helping me with the new store was filled every moment with all manner or creative ventures and attitudes to boot! We would barely be able to wash our faces and fall into bed! But it felt good and very companionable--and it keeps the mind from worrisome thoughts--staffing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, wwpoints, driving on empty, shoes that are too big, Gledora-type employees , well, you get the picture! Grandpa Petersen is the one to thank for such drive! Carry on! I can't wait to see the books! You can look forward now to your reward in a paycheck! Thanks sweetest Jessie.
