Sweet, sweet sleep.

I am such a lucky girl. Actually, I would say blessed, since I don't really believe in luck. Bella is an easy baby to begin with, but she makes motherhood even easier by being a good sleeper. She's pretty much always been a good sleeper. She was consistently sleeping through the night by 4 months old, and even earlier than that sporadically. Since that time she's slept from about 7pm- 7am, but recently it's gotten even better. She pushed her bedtime back an hour to 8, which I was reluctant to get on board with, but the cause is well worth it. She just kind of fell into a schedule for napping (finally!)about 2 or 3 weeks ago. She regularly naps from 10:30-12:30 AND 3:30-5:30!! Could it BE any better than that?! I love it. I only wonder how long this great fortune can possibly last. Not only does she take 2 great 2 hour naps a day, (most days) but they're scheduled so I can schedule things as well. (Not very often necessary since I don't have a lot going on, but still, SO convenient.) I just hope all my babies are so good and have their dad's easy-going personality. There's definitely more of Timm in her in that regard, thank goodness. (I think everyone is sighing in relief over that one, myself included.)
p.s. Jill took this sweet picture of Bella when she was about 2 months old last July.

It's a true blessing that you got such a wonderful sleeper for a baby. The long and predictable napping is to be envied as well. I remember always being frustrated with my kids and wishing they would sleep; and then when they were asleep I was terrified they were going to wake up soon. It was awful. I wish I would have been able to relax and just go with the flow, but that was just beyond me at the time.

Cute photo, hee.

Bella is the total package. Good eater, good sleeper, cute voice, smart, ADORABLE...What more could you ask for? Daniel actually took a nap today for the first time in weeks and it was wonderful. He WAS a good sleeper, too, up until recently. I miss the days when he would take consistent naps.....How did Bella do at the gym today?

I am also blessed with good sleepers. Jessica started sleeping through the night 7-7 at 6 weeks old. SO FABULOUS! My best advice....never give up the early bedtime!!!

I have told you this before, but you are so lucky to have your mellow little Bella. She is way easy going, so it is no surprise to me that she is a good sleeper. Awesome!

Mitch just started sleeping through the night (7-6:30ish)consistantly about a month ago when he was six months old. It's heaven!

Bella just "happened" upon the nap schedule or did you do something magical to make it happen? I still haven't been able to get Henri on a nap schedule... but I haven't tried very hard. He sleeps well at night (7:30-7), but recently he has been getting up earlier in the morning (6ish and this morning 5!). Any tips? You are very blessed I must say!!!

This is truly a blessing. One I have never been fortunate to receive. None of my kids were ever good sleepers. Max would take 15 minute naps. Lucas gave up naps altogether by 18 months. So it's quite possible that Eva is the best sleeper of them all, if you can believe it! She still doesn't exactly sleep through the night, but it's much better than it used to be. And her naps are unpredictable and usually last about an hour. sigh. I'm happy for you, though!

Sweetest baby girl! Yes, a good baby is a fine blessing! Michelle was the BEST baby, toddler and gradeschooler (the teenage years were alittle scarey)! The only bad thing about having a near perfect baby is that is spoils you. I remember thinking, "this motherhood thing is great! I can definitley do this!".....and then along came Ryan....enjoy the blessing of a good baby and start praying now for another one the next time around! Kisses to my doll baby.
