Happiness is a pretty pile of presents
I got this package from my mom yesterday for my birthday. (Which is Sunday, Father's Day. Incidentally, I was also born on a Father's Day.) I turn the big quarter century this year, although that was news to Timm as he told everyone I was turning 24. He also had to learn that he was a year older than he thought, causing for a minor breakdown on his part. But I digress...
Anything my mom sends is cause for celebration, so I am excited for those!
Then today I got a huge box from Denise (dpw) and Grandma that is large enough to hold several small children. (Not that I endorse such an activity.)I opened it just enough to see that the goods were not wrapped, so I put in on my kitchen counter- the only place big enough to hold it out of Bella's grasp.
I love the anticipation of birthdays and having wonderful people to remember you that day! (Even if your husband doesn't know how old you are...)

You're so right about that, especially when the pile of presents is from your family! I've never known mother, aunt, grandma, or sister who shower good gifts the way yours do. You're one lucky girl. Enjoy the anticipation and aesthetically pleasing pile.
Happy birthday!
Glad it arrived! Timm's shell necklace and mended shorts are also in the box, along with shoes, pants and a sweater vest for Max (oh--and the book that Grandma gave you for Mother's Day. (Didn't want you wondering about the black shoes....).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
I love the pile- I would be so tempted to open them before my b-day though. I am impatient!
wow Happy Birthday! how cute and what big pile of presents. In my family they hardly ever give any presents...sad...I love to give but it gets kind of sad sometimes when nothing is received...thank goodness for Jill!
I'm with you, I would totally wait until my birthday to open said presents. It's so fun to get gifts from Mom -- not only because she gives such great gifts, but also because she wraps them SO cute! As much as I love polka dots, there's nothing quite so cute as a present wrapped in striped paper. I love the way it looks on the end that's folded in! Can't wait to find out what's inside. Happy birthday! I love you.
