Getting Along

So I took Michelle to the airport today. I am holding it together well so far. Luckily Timm got home from work just about an hour after I got home, so after I gave both girls lunch and put Bella down for her quiet time (a complete misnomer by this time-) I was able to lay down and nap, almost as if Shell was here. During her visit, I could take a nap whenever and for however long I wanted. The only dictating factor was when Fiona had to eat. Can you imagine that luxury? Wow. Luckily for me I have this buffer period before I am totally on my own. Tomorrow being Sunday, Timm will be home for the day with the exception of when he takes Bella to church. Then come Monday and Tuesday I probably won't see him until I am in bed for the night. Yikes. That's when I will start the trial run of my new life...
Shell's goodbyes. Bella always insists that she doesn't miss anyone. I repeatedly explain that when we love someone we want to be with them, so when we can't be with them we are sad and we miss them. Nevertheless Bella constantly insists that she doesn't miss anyone, she just loves them. I don't know whether she really gets the concept or not...

On the way home she kept telling me not to be sad. At the same time she always tells me that she wants to go to M'Utah, and when can we go to M'Utah...
So- So far, so good. I am thinking of Michelle today while she suffers another marathon day of travel- for me. She has 3-hour layovers and even though we left my house at noon today, she won't land until 11:30 NC time...Yet another sacrifice she's happily made for me and for my family.
Missing you...

Such tender thoughts and feelings. Michelle is a wonderful sister to you and you to her.

I'm so pleased that she could come and care for you. It makes me happy and proud.

My prayers will be with you while you make the adjustment of being the mother of 2 earthy daughters. I know you can do it (in Grandma's words.....)

Sisters are the best after having a baby they do everything for you. I know you'll adjust just fine this week even though it will be hard. I wish I could be there for you.
Michelle is so nice and thoughtful to take care of you all week, what a sacrifice for her and her family.

So bittersweet. I am so glad she was able to come, she really is a great companion. You will do fine this week. I am glad Timm is home today so you have a good family day before the real thing.

Hi Jessie. I hopped over from Michelle's blog to say...I LOVE YOUR DARLING house.

I just had my 4th baby 3 mos ago and when my mom left, I fell apart. Facing "Phase 1 of Your New Life" can be trying. Chin up! Fiona's beautiful.
