Handmade Birthdays

The embroidery hoop for Hannah was photographed in my window so you can see the needlework coming through the back. It does not actually look like that. And my pirate doll still has some purple disappearing ink since I was in a rush to photograph it, once again. It disappeared before I gave the gift.

Bad-A pirate doll for Bella's friend Naomi, complete with tattoos. (As well as shadows and bad lighting.) I had a special affection for this chick.

Molly comissioned this doll who has a removable corduroy wrap skirt.
Whew.

I so wish that most of my ideas were original.

I'm loving all your embroidery projects! The Bad-A pirate doll is so cute, the tattoos are a nice touch.

Hooray! You are posting your projects!

Ditto to what Jill said -- I don't think the day will ever come that I can say most of my ideas are original. If only...

I LOVE all of these! Can't even choose a favorite.
