Good Mail

Today is the best kind of day- I have received good mail, and I am also waiting for others to receive my own good mail sendings. Michelle sent me this special issue of Simple Scrapbooks. Jill blogged about the copy that Shell gave her yesterday, and I would assume that she has probably sent it to others of you also, knowing her. I love special issues, and I rarely have the money to spend on them myself. (Not that she does either!) Thanks Shell :) It came in perfect time for an album I am making about myself which I am planning on starting right away. She also made me this cute journal about a month ago and I forgot to blog about it! She probably thought that meant that I didn't really like it, but so not the case! I love the design, the colors, the theme- everything. I love hand-made gifts. Especially from one as skilled as Michelle. Yay!
Today is also the best kind of day because I can be lazy without feeling guilty or making excuses. I have been relatively productive all week. My housework is done, my laundry is done, my cooking is done...All I have done today is read, nap, laundry, read, fold laundry, and start an album I am making. Delightful. We also had a rollicking good time at game night last night which we moved to Diana's house for the night. She and Lou were a wonderful addition to the typical game night crowd, as evidenced by our 1:30 am arrival home. Yay again!

Hooray for good mail plus the anticipation of others receiving good mail from you, that's such a pleasing combination of goodness.

I can't wait to see the sparks of genius that will come from you perusing the magazine. No doubt you'll get many good ideas and then actually do something about them. Please post them when you do.

I love good days and good mail. Good for you for being caught up, I love when that happens but is is becoming and "endangered species."

That is so funny, I did wonder if you didn't really like the book. Glad to know I was wrong!

The anticipation of sending good mail is as good as (or better than) receiving it. So fun.

I am very envious of your day today. I didn't sit down all day until 7:00 when I ate dinner for 15 minutes, then on to more work. I feel like I never want to do anything again...

That book is way cute! What a delightful day and well deserved. I should try to follow your example this coming week so I can have a guilt free weekend as well.

Hey,

I just wanted to say thanks for the heads up about Old Navy!! I am not sure how I linked to your blog, but I've been reading it for a few weeks. You are really inspiring to me. I struggle with depression myself, and so it's great to watch your positive outlook. Anyway, I went to town at Old Navy, and told a bunch of friends too. We all owe you!!

Thanks
Syd

I love having productive weeks and then being able to completely relax at the end--it's so satisfying!

I'm jealous of all you accomplished. I feel like I ran like a crazy woman all week and have very little to show for it, other than dumb hair from being too hot. Now a new week is beginning and I already feel behind.....

It sounds like you had a very nice day. Good for you. You seem to have been crazy busy so I'm sure you needed a break. Although.. did your house really need more cleaning? y'all are cleaning freaks- I missed out on that gene.

I love good mail- it always brightens my day.

I always forget to post about my good mail (your adorable thank you cards- yeah.. I didn't post about either). It just forget and think it seems dumb to post about it weeks later?
