Whine

I'm sick.My ears are ringing. I lost my voice. I have an earache. I have phlegm. I have a stuffy nose. I can't breathe, I can't sleep, I can't take a day off. I hate being the sick mom. Not only do you get no rest and no special accommodations or care, but you're still taking care of everyone else. 3 year olds and 5 month olds are not the best nurses, or very understanding either. They still whine, cry, wake up in the middle of the night, and generally drive you crazy. Even crazier when you feel like someone is sawing your ear off.
Blimey.

You're allowed to whine when you're sick with kids. I hear you on that one. My husband is just barely starting to understand that there is a big difference when he's sick vs. when I'm sick. Get better soon!

I'm so sorry. I hate being sick, and you're right, being a sick mom is so freakin' hard! I hope it doesn't last too long.

I feel for you. You need to call in reinforcements.

Yuck, sorry your slight reprieve yesterday didn't result in healthier results! Tread water until you make it to shore my dear.

Yes! I think this was the worst realization when I became a mom. No rest for the weary, I tell ya.

It totally stinks that moms don't get sick days! Have you been to the doctor? An earache might warrant a visit, and you have that FSA $$ to use up...
