I Make Stuff Again- One Thing, Anyway.

Now that Emily has received this belated birthday present I can post pictures of it:
I saw this here a long time ago and I thought of Emily right away and have filed it away since then. I love it, but I can tell it's not for everyone-I hope I was right when I thought it was right up Em's alley.
Metal washers and ribbon. Done. I tried to keep this one neutral, but think of all the beautiful ribbon you could use!
Please excuse the minute view of cleavage. It's kind of unavoidable.
The tutorial here is very good, but I should mention a couple of things. I used 3 different sizes of washers: 1/4" (S), 5/16" (M), and 3/8" (L) and the order I used was 3 small, 5 medium, 10 large, 5 medium, and 3 small. I just fooled with it until I liked the order and length of it. I also used much more ribbon than she advised, although I don't know how much. I made sure to leave an ample amount (again more than she mentioned) on each end for tying as well (Incidentally, Emily I forgot to put some Fray-Check on the ends of the ribbon, so you'll probably want to do that!)
Easy, cheap, and cool.
