I have a disorder

...But I'm not sure what it should be called.
I do this a lot. I am all in, or I am all out. Another one of my mantras lately, at least that I am trying to adopt, is 'Small and Consistent', as in my efforts. So, in complete and abject opposition to that, I am burying myself in a project. I've always been intimidated by sewing, in general, but clothing specifically.
So a few days ago I decided I would sew Bella a skirt.
Actually an entire wardrobe of nothing but skirts.
Before school starts.
Next week.
And then I would embellish and accessorize an entire wardrobe of t-shirts with various methods, and coordinating hair clips, pins, and brooches.
She starts kindergarten next Thursday.
That's a week from tomorrow.
I have 12 skirts planned.
I cut all my fabric, using 7 different patterns, or tutorials so far. Also, did I mention I have never made an article of clothing in my life? Except this one. I finished this a couple of days ago, so there's 1 down and 10 to go. There are a couple of egregious errors, but ones that I can learn from and not repeat. Hopefully. I'll keep you posted.
Check out the tutorial I used!

Yeah, you're a little bit crazy.

I like your ambition, and I love your fabrics. But you don't have to make everything in one week! Crazy girl.

I hope you'll give us a fashion show when you're finished!

You, my dear, are a girl after my own heart. I can picture myself doing something exactly like this. Why do you live so far away? How are we supposed to hang out?

Good luck, by the way!

love the fabrics, let me know if you have any questions. I use to sew and smock almost all of Sophie's dresses. I loved it, and you will too!

I tend to think of myself as being all or nothing, but you put me to shame!

I love the skirt, I made one for Addie, what are your other patterns? I never seem to find cute things like that, I guess I don't know where to look.

I'm pretty sure that my staff would say I have the same "disorder". Whenever I have to rework the store and put out new stuff, I get obsessed with moving everything! Restyling the whole flippin store, instead of just added a few things here and there. My helper, a cute young professional, indulges me, at the same time politically trying to encourage me to focus on one area and put blinders on me for other areas! It ussually doesn't work. I rework the whole store until exhaustion sets in, usually in the wee hours of the morning.

Those are mightly cute fabrics and I can relate to the drive to do it all. Sorry, maybe it came from me.
